
The PRC law firms in Hong Kong continue to recruit capital markets partners from the US and UK law firms. Notable moves include Jennifer Ng joining 嘉源律师事务所 Jia Yuan Law Offices, Can Yin joining Han Kun Law Offices in Beijing and Hong Kong and Sherry Chi making the move from Linklaters to Haiwen & Partners. A&O Shearman is taking Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer head of financial services regulatory practice Hannah Cassidy who is leaving after almost 19 years at HSFK, becoming the first Asia partner to leave the firm since its merger went live earlier this month.
In Singapore there continues to be movement across Dispute Resolution teams. US law firm Morrison Foerster has continued its Asia expansion with the addition of private funds specialist Xuanyi Liu who joins as a partner from Gibson Dunn & Crutcher.
