June was another active month for partner hiring across Asia, with Hong Kong leading the way in terms of volume and breadth of activity. We saw continued investment across disputes, capital markets, corporate and private client practices, while Tokyo remained a key strategic growth market driven by M&A, private equity and energy-focused hires.
Singapore was quieter overall but continued to attract high-quality disputes and arbitration talent. We also saw notable movement beyond private practice, including Daniel Fertig's transition from Simpson Thacher to DayOne as Chief Legal Counsel.
